THE PROBLEM

A large-scale business with operations spread across several retail locations, like our client, cannot afford to rely on manual cash flow management in this digital age. Relying on cashiers to regularly deposit sizable sums of money into the bank can be quite laborious and cause mistakes.

The management of cash inflow and outflow across all of our client’s sites was the main issue. The vastness of their operations across several departments needed a solution that was well structured and would create opportunities for a smooth transition. The best course of action at this point seemed to be to completely digitize their cash reconciliation system using cutting-edge technology. Our client came to us looking for a solution to revamp their online sales and cash reporting platform. The goal was to gain operational efficiencies.

  • Ideating the concept

    Our UX Designers started with the idea of designing an application that eases the operational workload and simplifies the main requirements. We carefully planned the design of the online cash reconciliation platform that would help our client fulfill their objectives. Now we have an app that can support internal competencies and assess the financial health of the client, which is fundamental in monitoring and executing their business strategy and offers a smooth user experience.

  • Web App development

    An early deployment strategy and focus on constant improvement were crucial for a holistic approach to the solution. As soon as the idea matured, we entered the development phase. Developing a working prototype is pivotal for validating each assumption and functionality. By keeping the client in the loop throughout the process, we were able to use feedback and suggestions to prevent deviations, eliminate gaps and rectify glitches as quickly as possible. We subsequently integrated an ERP system to further simplify the processes.
