The Problem
Our client needed an employee training solution to fulfill its strategic needs. A platform serving as the first line of communication and training for the employees would fully ensure that team members were prepared to perform their jobs adequately and remain fully engaged.
Additionally, they wanted to offer industry-recognized certifications to employees and help them add more value to their portfolios. They wanted a platform that was inclusive, innovative, sustainable, and value-driven.

We provided our client with a scalable and comprehensive solution for efficiently upskilling their employees.
The Solution
As a first step, we partnered with our client to learn about the idea behind the employee training tool. We were able to gain clarity on the project goals, technical feasibility, and development during the product ideation workshop. After conducting a thorough requirements analysis, our team decided to break the project down into 12 sprints followed by sprint meetings and reviews. For testing and feedback, an iterative version of the app was presented to the client at the end of each sprint. This methodology involves continuous collaboration with stakeholders and improvement at each step to deliver value to customers.

Ideating the concept
Our goal was to design an app for everyone, not just the tech-savvy, by creating a UI/UX that was easy for employees to use. We focused on making learning accessible to all, simplifying course browsing, and making it easy to track learning. The app is simple, smooth, responsive, and consistently adheres to the brand palette.

User Experience Design and User Interface Design
An agile approach helped us with constant improvement and early deployment. The development phase started as soon as the idea matured a little. A working prototype was developed to validate the assumptions and functionalities. Core functionalities were focused upon in the initial stage. Proposed functionalities were incorporated in the second stage. We also made a tab version of the Android app for reaching out to even more potential users. We released the app on the iOS and Android platforms.

Mobile App Development
For this employee training tool, we wanted to make sure that we create a robust testing environment along with carefully selecting release criteria. Furthermore, the employee training app was made to go through different types of quality assurance tests such as data conversion testing, mobile testing, regression testing, software performance testing, and user acceptance testing.
