Our client realized that it was difficult for new cricket players to find opportunities beyond their local network. It was also a time-consuming process for clubs to go out and scout players who match their skill level and interests. There are smaller clubs that do not have a large pool of players to choose from or for cricketers who are looking to play at a higher level than what is available in their immediate area. Our client approached us to develop and update their website that can help cricketers find opportunities to play for clubs that are looking for players and vice versa.
Our goal was to improve on the existing NextJS and ReactJS code and integrate a secure payment gateway resulting in a more efficient, secure, and engaging platform for players and clubs alike.
We carefully examined the existing ReactJS codebase to understand the app’s architecture, design patterns, and dependencies. The two main standards that had to be upheld for delivering the website were effectiveness and accessibility. We then drafted a roadmap outlining the project’s strategy as well as the tasks, due dates, and milestones.
Our expert ReactJS developers with NextJS and NodeJS experience began their work after a user flow was created to validate the assumptions and functionalities. We never failed to incorporate our clients’ suggestions and feedback. We used NodeJS to create several APIs and also implemented a safe and secure online payment gateway to make transactions faster and more fluid.
The quality checking stage was to ensure that the web application performs well without any interruption or errors. Keeping our key principles into consideration, we’ve run numerous quality checks to fix any potential flaws.
